Moving Tips

May is here, and it is a big month for people to move during. Whether you are moving to a house, a new apartment, or have college grads moving, moving is a lot of work and often requires a lot of packing supplies. That’s why we want to offer some of our best tips to make your move as easy as possible.

·         Pack your heavy items in small boxes and your lighter items in large ones. It may be tempting to fit as much as you can into a large box, but you don’t want to make it so heavy that it's impossible to move.

·         If possible, pack electronics in the original box. If not, use bubble wrap to protect them.

·         Tape your boxes closed. During a move, boxes may tip over, someone may drop the box while walking, etc. If the box is taped your possessions will be safer.

·         Use unprinted newsprint instead of newspaper to wrap items. Printed newsprint could stain your items.

·         Pack your boxes by room. It will make the entire experience much more organized.

·         Use wardrobe boxes. These boxes allow you to hang your clothes on hangers inside the box. It will save a lot of time.

·         Always label your boxes so you know what is inside them. If you don’t, you’ll be stuck opening each box to find what you need.

·         Start packing early. It takes much longer than you would expect it to, so start packing the things you don’t use as far in advance as possible.

·         Pack a box of essential items such as a change of clothes, your toothbrush, and other similar items. Have it accessible right when you move in.

·         Pack your items tightly. Do not leave empty space in the boxes. Any item can be damaged. Fill this space with towels or packing paper.

That’s just a few tips for making your next move easier. Looking for moving supplies? ShippingSupply.com has a large selection of items such as boxes, tape, and more that will be a huge help with your new move!

A New Month

Both of these items can be used to indicate a variety of things. We carry tags for shipping, inventory, inspection, and much more. Similarly we have labels for many different occasions such as arrow labels, fragile labels, and shipping labels.

That’s right, it’s another chance to save money just for shopping on our site! And, as usual, we have tons of amazing products for you to choose from.

That is because there are so many different ways to ship, and the way you ship depends entirely on what type of products you are shipping. Not only that, but how you ship depends on the industry, customer needs, the size of your business, and so much more. There’s not a simple way to explain how to ship, but what we can do is provide you with many types of products to cover many varieties of shipping.

For example, many products are shipped using corrugated boxes. This can be the case if an item is smaller, requiring a more standard sized box, or a large furniture item, requiring something more large and bulky. We have plenty of corrugated boxes for you to choose from. Or some customers use bubble mailers, as their items are smaller, lighter, and easier to transport.

Besides that, there are items that most people will need to ship, such as tape and labels. Or there are things that fewer customers will need, such as edge protectors. We want to include everyone, no matter how big or small their business is. That means giving you the largest variety of products we can.

And with all of the products we have available, it should be easy for you to find the items you need. Once you find those items, if your purchase does end up being $75 or more, you’ll get $10 off just for shopping. We don’t do sales like this every week, so if you’ve been waiting to buy some shipping supplies now is the time to do it.

Fragile Labels

These labels display warnings and instructions for your shipments. They come in bold, bright colors that will be noticed by the people handling your packages. 500 labels come in a roll. There are multiple phrases to choose from such as “Fragile – Handle With Care”, “Fragile- Delicate Instruments”, and more.

Multi-Depth Boxes

Corrugated boxes are important for any company that does shipping, and these boxes are particularly useful. The boxes are scored at intervals on the side of the box. This way, you can cut to the desired height you need without buying tons of different boxes in different sizes.

Air Bubble Rolls

Air bubble is great for cushioning and void-fill during shipping. It is sold in 48” master bundles and protects items against shock, abrasion, and vibration. You cannot simply ship items without protecting them, and air bubble is a reliable way to do this.
